A plant manager typically must have a bachelor’s degree in industrial management, business administration, or a related field, as well as anywhere from four to eight years in a supervisory position in a manufacturing environment

- An entry-level Plant Managers, remuneration with less than 5 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of Rs 248,000. Average total compensation includes bonus, and overtime pay
- A Plant Manager, with mid-career experience which includes employees with 5 to 10 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of Rs 829,000.
