Designation : HR Manager

Function: Human Resources 

Reporting:  Manager Director

Industry : Engineering Consultancy

Experience : 7 to 10 yrs

Qualification:  Any Post Graduate Degree in the field of Management or Human Resources

Job Purpose

 All Human Resource related activities such as Talent Acquisition, Payroll Management, Employee

 Engagement and Welfare Activities, Rewards and Recognition, Training, Performance Appraisal,

 etc. will be under the purview of this job role.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration

o Receive all written communication or deliveries and pass them on to the

intended recipients

o Handle all stationery and office supplies and place orders whenever


• Recruitment

o Maintain Database of candidates for respective open positions

o Coordinate with Managers and Candidates for job interviews

o Reviewing and updating Job Descriptions as per requirements

• Compensation and Benefits

o Liaising with the accounts team for monthly release of salaries

o Prepare monthly salary file

o Maintain trackers for promotion and increments

o Maintain database with leave and other entitlements for all employees

o Coordinate with the concerned vendor for employee medical insurance

Employee Database Management

o Facilitating new employee joining formalities

o Maintain employee files and update them when required

o Prepare and record all relevant HR documents, letters, certificates etc

• HR Administration

o Address grievances and escalate to the management when deemed necessary

o Ensure compliance with internal policies by all employees

o Ensure adherence to compliance laws and regulations

• Rewards and Recognition and Employee Engagement

o Handle Employee Rewards and Recognition

o Handle Service Completion formalities for employees

o Conduct Engagement activities across locations

o Send mailers for occasions, and work anniversaries

• Performance Management System

o Support and manage the Performance Appraisal Process.

o Coordinate with Managers and Employees for the PMS

• Event Management

o Organize and coordinate training activities for all employees

o Liaise with vendors for facilitating HR related activities in the organization

such as printing company

o Provide support in coordinating events and activities in the organization

such as Annual Day functions, Informal meetings, etc

o Conduct Employee Engagement activities

o Handle all meeting requests for the board rooms and conference rooms

Skills and Competencies

1. Intermediate computer skills in MS Office applications

2. Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability

3. Ability to work under pressure and handle crises

4. Ability to maintain good interpersonal relations
