Job Summary
The role is responsible for managing the overall operation and control of all plant activities and functional departments for smooth functioning, profitability, business growth and development of the unit in sync with the corporate plan

Responsibility Areas
- Plan, organize, and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly objectives based on business need, product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials.
- Plan the production schedules in consultation with Production Manager to ensure that Annual Manufacturing targets are achieved
- Set departmental targets along with departmental heads based on plant goals and conducts periodic reviews
- Identify options for improvement of technology or process at plant level and propose developmental plans to managing partners
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors at plant level and organize periodic site visits for them
- Assist managing partners in reviewing RFQs ( Request for Quotations) and provide necessary inputs for converting potential opportunity into a profitable deal
- Review and interact regularly with accounts department to analyze the financial position including debts, cash and payments etc. of the plant
- Guide the support departments in taking critical decisions, improving efficiency, recruitment, negotiation in the plant
- Be accountable for all compliance, approvals, audit requirements and certificates required for smooth functioning of the plant
- Ensure that resources are adequately planned and available at all times (raw material, spares, manpower, fuel, power etc.)
- Responsible to work closely with Quality team to review product consistency in order to determine areas of improvement and new product development.
- Responsible for coordinating the maintenance department to ensure zero breakdown hours that affects the total productivity of the unit.
- Responsible for ensuring that the store department is properly keeping the benchmarks and order level for keeping a safe stock for anticipated shortage and production needs.
- Any other work assign by the management as per requirement.
