Job Responsibilities
● Test new and existing software features using manual and automated test methods
● Perform functional, compatibility, accessibility, and security testing as needed
● Design, create, maintain and execute automated acceptance, regression, and performance
tests
● Identify and document issues found in applications during manual and automated testing to
assist with easy recreation
● Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to understand and advise on well-defined
and testable acceptance criteria
● Assist Developers and other Quality Assurance Engineers with the design and
implementation of software conducive to automated acceptance tests
● Assist DevOps engineers in identifying resources for all manual and automated testing
needs
● Document automation using behavior driven development
● Participate in design and code reviews associated with automation development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
● Extensive experience testing software solutions using manual and automated testing
approaches
● Extensive experience testing secure, scalable, and highly available web applications
● Experience using test automation frameworks
● Experience with cross-browser testing
● Experience with accessibility testing
● Experience or knowledge of web application development technologies and concepts
● Demonstrated programming abilities using Java; preference for an ability to code using
Spring framework libraries
● Ability to design user interface automation using IntelliJ, Selenium, and a Java-based
automation framework
● Proven experience analyzing and troubleshooting issues, as well as escalating in order to
resolve
● Strong work ethic with abilities to work independently, follow a schedule, and meet deadlines
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
