Position: Manager – Research & Development
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Overall Management of the R & D Section.
- Informed to Deputy Chairman, MD,GM operations of the progress of all issues Pertaining to the R & D section.
- Formulation Development of care, hair care, home care & soaps.
- New vendor development.
- Creation of FDA, GMP documentation, regulatory affairs, site master file, SOP, MSDS and BPR, BMR, MFR, all FDA formal documents, calibration records etc.
- In-charge of the implementation of quality of product by outside laboratory
- Production work with research and testing laboratory.
- Research and development for labeling and packaging.
- Manufacturing and inspection of production at time.
QC Department
- Complete ownership of maintaining quality standards of plant and product
- Maintain QA/QC records
- Coordination with Production / Purchase / Sales / Management
- Answering technical queries & complaints.
- Ensuring zero defect product.
- Calibration and records of all lab equipment .
- Cleanliness of plant, lab area, glassware, manufacturing vessels
- Maintaining control samples, approved samples, records.
- Adherence to SOP, Systems and implementing same through plant.
- Plant quality compliance..
- Report production defects.
