Urgently required Accountant for a well reputed event management company in Delhi.

Designation:  Accountant

Location      :  Rajendra Place, New Delhi

Experience  :   Min 4 Yrs.

Job Description:

Primary responsibility is to independently handle Accounts and Finance of the company

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly schedules
• Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and analyze financial statements. Report on variances.
• Plan and manage financial and tax audits and respond to reports independently
• Independently prepare direct & indirect tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
• Liaison with all external agencies like Tax departments and Chartered Accountants
• Document and monitoring of internal controls
• Other projects as assigned
• Manage financial statements needed for various projects and services like drawbacks

Requirement

• Thorough knowledge of VAT, CST, EXCISE INCOME and SALES TAX
• Knowledge of Tally ERP is must
• Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting & Finance
• Strong understanding of Accounting & Finance theories
• At least 5-6 years of accounting/finance experience
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from Management
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
