Job Purpose
  • Directly reporting to the company’s Managing Director, the Pre- Sales Consultant is responsible for Pre sales activity, the daily operations related to business applications and integrations, IT governance, SOX compliance, and project and resource allocation for the department. The Technician will provide management oversight, technical leadership, and direction to both the business and the IT organization and will help develop and grew departmental staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  2. Pre-Sales Consultants are responsible for analysing market data to determine the ideal customer for a given product. This is one of their most important duties, as the success of their sales pitch depends largely on the accuracy of their analysis.
  3. Pre-Sales Consultants use the data mentioned above, coupled with their sales expertise, to craft sales pitches for their sales team. This duty also involves presenting sales pitches to the decision makers of a given campaign.
  4. Pre-Sales Consultants help their sales team qualify leads by using their deep understanding of the product’s ideal customer pain points. They may even have the initial phone or digital contact with leads.
  5. Pre-Sales Consultants know the given product better than anyone on the sales and marketing teams. This deep product knowledge is required to write a sales pitch that highlights the product’s features and benefits.
  6. Pre-Sales Consultants don’t just work with the sales team. They are also responsible for attending and contributing to strategy meetings held by the marketing team. Their goal is to make sure their pitch is aligned with the marketing campaign.
  7. The Director will take the lead role in managing day to day operations and strategic initiatives of the Enterprise Solutions Department.
  1. Primary ownership over managing day to day operations of production systems and integrations.
  2. Work together with business and IT leaders to define their IT operational strategy and serve as an SME on their behalf as needed.
  3. At least 5+ successful years’ experience in vendor Pre-Sales activity.
Technical Skills-

Experience of one or more of the following technology areas: IT Security (end point threat detection), IT Transformation Projects (Office365 migration), IT Service Management (good understanding of ITIL, e.g. incident management and proactive problem management)

  1. Broad knowledge of main industry standard technologies (Windows Server, Linux, Virtualisation).
  2. Good grounding in network protocols and technologies.
  3. Customer centric attitude with great people skills.
  4. Establish foundational/advanced knowledge of products and solutions that are typically positioned through specialty groups (e.g. Data Management/Protection, Data Intelligence, Virtualization and Applications)
  5. Sync with post-sales team and provide adequate documentation for clear handoff to post-sales organization. Ensure minimal/no post-sales time by educating the customer on how to use Post-Sales resources (Customer Service & Support (CS&S), Global Support Centre (GSC), Global

16.Involve in the formulation of forecasts and budgets and develop plans to meet it.

17Knows how to deal with company’s financial performance and status.
