Designation: – Design Engineer for Progressive Dies

Job Location: Hyderabad, India
Qualification: Mechanical Engineering
Tasks:
• Design of progressive dies; independently according to product requirements
• Evaluation of the test readings of the component parts and derivation of appropriate procedures
• Development of corrective actions and optimizations of all types of punching tools
• Maintenance of existing 3D data and drawing data sets
• Participate constantly for further development of design guidelines and standards
• Close cooperation with German interfaces, especially with Manufacturing Engineering and Tool Design depts.
Technical requirements:
• Min. 7 years of professional experience as a toolmaker
• Several years of experience (at least 5) in the area of design of progressive dies
• Safe handling of common forming processes (stamping, bending, cutting) in the area of progressive dies.
• Profound knowledge of busbars, lead frames, connectors, rolling elements, plug-in sleeves (male / female), etc
• Know-how in the area of client´s product portfolio
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Independent, responsible and structured way of working as well as very good analytical skills
• Fast comprehension, reliability and accuracy
• High willingness to work in a team in an international environment
• Problem solving skills, commitment and flexibility
• Safe handling of 3D software, preferred with Creo 2.0.
• Automotive background (or background of client´s vendors, e.g. BOSCH, Hella, Valeo, Continental)
Personal requirements:
• Assertiveness, tenacity
• Result oriented work
• Hand-on mentality
• Very good English skills both in writing and speaking. Clear and understandable pronunciation
• Experience in dealing with international customers preferable
