Technical Requirements:
- Responsible for all local sourcing activities incl. supplier management for regions Middle to South India
- Negotiate prices and conditions with new suppliers and new designs in close alignment with internal customers in Europe & USA
- Perform market analysis and develop new suppliers in order to support global needs
- Co-ordinate and support the qualification and approval activities with new suppliers
- Identify new suppliers and savings opportunities across BU´s
- Performing periodic evaluation of vendors in terms of quality, delivery and packing
- Support global cost reduction projects
Your skills:
- Excellent negotiation with suppliers and following up of material purchases in line with Global Purchase department
- Autonomous work in accordance with specifications and an above-average expectation in respect of quality
- Strong communication skills combined with a strong team spirit
- An independent, process-oriented, and proactive way of working
- Experienced in co-operating with a team in an international environment
- Commitment and enjoyment of project work
- Very good English skills both in writing and speaking. Clear and understandable pronunciation as close contact to German Purchasing department
