Brief About Role- Required Production in-charge for an electronic assembly line, candidate should be with Technical background with the experience of managing electronic assembly line .
Job Description:
- Oversee production operation and ensure manufacturing remains smooth and efficient
- Monitor line workers and workflows
- Production planning according to sales projections/ customer orders
- Managing the resources for the production activities
- Production of products as per quality and quantity
- Supervising the production activities and ensuring that all activities are carried out as laid down in Standard Operating Procedures
- Preparing various Batch, daily and monthly reports
- Co-ordinating with purchase and stores for R.M, W.I.P. and F.G.; and stock statement
- Responsible for preparing specifications, test methods, SOP’s
Joint Responsibility for line:
- Production planning according to sales projections/ customer orders
- Line Manpower planning
- Managing the resources for the production activities
- Production of products as per quality and quantity
- Supervising the production activities and ensuring that all activities are carried out as laid down in Standard Operating Procedures
- Preparing various Batch, daily and monthly reports
- Co-ordinating with purchase and stores for R.M., P.M., W.I.P. and F.G.; and stock statement
- Responsible for preparing specifications, test methods, SOP’s
- Identify root cause of problems, analyze and develop remedial actions working with shop floor and engineers.
Preferred Knowledge in Production/ Quality concepts like:
- Kaizens
- TQM /TPM (Jishu-Hozen)
- Process Capability Study/ 6 sigma
- SMED
- Lean Manufacturing & Flow manufacturing
- Poka-Yoke
- 7QC tools
- Inventory management
- Production line Set up (Automation experience is added advantage)
- Overall Equipment Efficiency improvement (Waste reduction/ Quality improvement)
- JIT / FIFO / KANBAAN
- Customer Audit Handling
- Production Capacity Planning
- VAVE / Cost reduction
