Job Responsibility: –
1. The Import Sales Manager will bring in clients for air and ocean freight, oversee custom brokerage processes and ensure compliances with Indian and foreign government lose and regulation as well as internal processes and procedure.
2. This position is responsible for maintaining the business flow of the import department and on boarding new clients in order to achieve financial and organizational goals.
3. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
4. Advise on investment activity and provide strategies that the company should take.
5. Maintain the financial health of the organization.
6. Analyze cost, pricing, variable contributions, sales result and the company’s actual performance compare to the business plan.
7. Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances
8. Conduct reviews and evaluation for cost reductions opportunities.
9. Oversee operations of the finance dept., set goals and objectives, and design a framework for this to be met.
10. Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
11. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company’s finance is maintained
12. Correspondence with various other dept., discussing company’s plan and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
