Designation:- Production Manager
Job Location: Oman
Qualification: Graduate
Experience: Min 8 Years
Responsibility:
1. Generate an annual business plan for all crops and areas under his direct management.
2. Liaise with other departments and managers to optimize the utilization of available resources within TAS.
3. Ensure that all inputs which are required for his field of responsibility are obtained timorously and cost effectively.
4. Endeavor to produce fresh produce of the highest possible quality within the limitations of the environment.
5. Ensure that all written and verbal reports required to fulfill his duties are delivered accurately and on time.
Performs Other Related Duties and Assignments as Required
1. Should be able to monitor implements and equipment used on sections under his management for correct functioning.
2 Should confer with other TAS personnel to evaluate weather and other conditions and adapt planned actions if and when required.
3. Should maintain good knowledge of the availability of labor to be in a position to mobilize reasonable numbers of laborers on short notice.
Education, Prior Work Experience, and Specialized Skills and Knowledge
Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (Agriculture) and 10 to 15 years’ experience of management at Production Manager level.
Ability to operate and maintain farm implements and equipment.
The ability to speak Arabic and other languages spoken by the TAS labor force will be a distinct advantage.
Salary: Excellent as experience and capability.
