Designation: Project Manager

Location: Maldives

Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master Degree in Project Management with

minimum 6 years working experience in project management in the building construction or

infrastructure development sector or Master Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 8

years working experience in project management in the building construction or infrastructure

development sector.

Salary: Handsome salary with accommodation and food allowances.

Job Description:

• Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to project
• Managing project deliverables in line with project plan
• Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical studies,

project design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in

accordance with engineering disciplines of staff.

• Liaises with, and updates progress to, Managing Director/ Senior Management
• Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
• Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards,
• customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving
• engineering design and test problems.
• Managing consultancy input within the defined budget
• Directs integration of technical activities and products.
• Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Controls expenditure within limitations of project budget
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Prepares interim and completion project reports.

Skills and Specifications

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid technical background with understanding and /or hands-on experience in construction

technologies and methods.

• Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Should be well organized, detail-oriented, forward-thinking and proactive.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage one’s own and others time.
• Proficient with basic budget management and calculations.
• Strong interpersonal: should be a good listener and able to give most effective solution

required at the time.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is an added advantage.
