Urgently Required Software Specialist, Digital Image Processing for a Birmingham based Company in U.K

Position: Software Specialist.
Location: United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for digital image processing application/software development.
• Advanced image processing algorithm development.
• Real-time implementation of computer vision algorithms.
• Test and verification of developed system performance based on real-life data.
• Improvement of existing algorithms to improve their performance.
• Add additional functionalities to the existing algorithms along with test and verification of the performance.
• Prepare detailed software and system requirements, design and test documentation.
• Exhaustive testing of algorithm along with the supporting software before its field deployment.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and team members.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, Higher degrees preferred.
• Deep knowledge of advanced image processing principles, theories and concept.
• Proven track record and strong background in successful application developments using advanced image processing and machine vision algorithm techniques.
• Familiar with well-known computer vision and image processing libraries.
• Exceptional attention to detail in algorithm development.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter, but works well within a team structure.
• Curiosity across multiple disciplines, willing to and interested in: learning new fields, techniques, and sharing ideas.
• Strong development experience on Windows, Linux and Android application software.
• Familiar with software system development process and configuration management.
• Ability to drive for result and meet tight timeline.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills, along with the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Station in PRC.
