Job Description

Designation: – Sales Manager

Industry:  Mandatory: Industrial Automation / Manufacturing / Robotics

Qualification– Engineering + MBA

Experience- 14+ yrs

· Understanding and reading engineering drawings

· Use of AutoCAD a plus

   Prior experience in robotics or powder handling preferred

There are five important skills needed for this job

1. Networking: Candidate should be great at networking with new leads through events & expos.

2. Nurturing: Candidate should be able to form a relationship with new leads and regularly stay in touch, nurture the lead, and keep sending regular emails, messages, calls.

3. Proposals: Candidate should have the technical skills to make and send proposals

4. Negotiating: Candidate should be able to handle technical and commercial negotiations with the customer

5. Closing: Candidate should be competent to close deals and will be responsible to achieve their quarterly targets

Role and Responsibilities

1. Strong in sales, business development, networking, lead nurturing, and relationship building.

2. Should be strong with negotiations and closing deals.

3. Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering & basic concepts.

4. Travel to client sites in India & globally for understanding the requirement, feasibility study, input data collection, and site location details capturing, deal closing etc.

5. Should be great with Microsoft 365 – Excel, Powerpoint, Word for techno-commercial proposal preparations.

6. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reports for sales performance, team performance.

7. Should update the CRM regularly with for leads, contacts & deals.

8. Interaction with project personnel to verify technical & commercial aspect of the requirement and if it is new/repeat enquiry.

9. Interaction with design department to verify the parameters suggested to client before submitting the quote.

10 . Should have prior experience in building and managing a team
