Main Responsibilities:
- Experience in handling Export/Import documentation.
- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding.
- Preparing daily reports & delivery schedule.
- Awareness of Export Scheme.
- Preparation of GST Invoices.
- Bank Realisation Certificates.
- Knowledge of all other necessary documents related to export & Import.
- To Negotiate prices for FCL / LCL export /import with various Shipping lines / consolidators / Counterparts and to check shortest transit route.
- To File online Shipping instructions for export shipments with shipping lines via webportal/ intra.
- To File air/sea IGM for sea / air shipments.
- To place booking for FCL containers via intra / shipping lines portal.
- Ability to correspond with the Overseas counterparts /shipper /consignees.
- Placing bookings and Shipping instructions on LINERS web pages and through INTTRA.
- Co ordination with shipper/Consignees to timely stuffing and handover the container to customs for clearance,
- Preparing entire export /Import documentation (Pre & Post document) and co ordination with lines for draft and BL releasing
- Keeping track of shipment order and status.
- Attending customer queries and performed administrative task.
- Co-ordination for with lines and shipper for surrenders.
- Co ordinate with shipping line, CHA and Co loaders for documentation.
- Follow up with the Shipper/ consignee/ bank for the payment.
- Maintaining shipment details in the Excel Sheet and in Register
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels.
- Coordination with transporter for handling over & pickup the shipment after customs clearance,
- Coordination with Shipping line / airlines for Delivery order for import shipments,
- To check the checklist for all air & sea /EXPORT / IMPORT shipments.
