Job Description:-
• Responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of jobs as Design Manager in conjunction with a UAE project director on major/complex projects. Core responsibilities include:.
• Ultimate responsibility for the project delivery in Revit to LOD 300
• Resource and Program Management
• Ensuring QA policy, HSE and CDM requirements are satisfied.
• Review of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (drawings, specifications, etc.) prepared by design consultants for accuracy, code compliance, constructability, and functionality. Provide feedback, and insure appropriate documentation is implemented.
• Lead and direct the MEP coordination process to resolve all conflicts
• Monitor the progress of MEP design projects, supervise onsite activities, including General Contractor and subcontractor management, ensure compliance with design, specifications, building codes, and contractual agreements.
• Work with Dubai HQ in understanding the project requirement and planning.
• Applying policies relating to health & safety, quality and training
• Work with Dubai HQ in understanding the project requirement and planning.
• Contribute to the strategic decisions of the business and play a key role in the development of the company procedures and by an active role in task groups.
• Have a good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
• Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working (Revit to LOD 300)
