Brief About Role:-
- Quality assurance officer is the one who control and maintains quality in the factory.
- Documentation: Ensure completion of all required documentation as per SOP
- Inspection: Conduct internal and 3rd party inspections
Responsibilities and Deliverables
- R&D and New Sampling: Input at R&D and sampling stage to get best results
- Quality: Ensure Quality Check at each stage to reduce cost and ensure 100% compliant product quality as per buyer sample.
- Training: Empower quality related staff with regular training
Documentation
- Document the PP meeting and filing the same.
- Ensure checkers make the daily report correctly and unbiased.
- Monthly Analysis of checkers report of different process as per SOP.
- Prepare CAPA from the analysis to minimiize and control rejection .
- Document and provide critical control points of each SKU type to the checkers of Kora, Polish and Packing.
- All reference samples stored to be documented in the register or digitally.
- Maintain Supplier monitoring records and prepare Approved Supplier List for each year.
- Ensure pilot run for each PO done and documented.
- Ensure all equipments and devices
Inspection
- Responsible to conduct and document the inprocess inspection i.e random quality check in the departments (Manufacturing, Polishing, Powdercoating, Electroplating, Lacquering and Colouring, Packing)
- Responsible to conduct and document the Internal Inline, Midline and Final Inspection of each shipment / PO as per AQL.
- Responsible to conduct and document the incoming goods and Raw material inspection of each lot of raw material comes in the factory as per AQL or mentioned in SOP.
- Responsible for conducting tilt test / internal heat test / scratch test at sample development stage, during sample approval of processes, internal inspection.
R&D and New Sampling
- Responsible for conducting tilt test / internal heat test / scratch test at sample development stage.
- Samples review at Raw Stage, Finishing Stage and final stage before sample dispatch to client.
- Quality callouts for new articles.
Quality
- Ensure all checkers to be provided with Approved Sample.
- Timely Approvals of samples- from brass kora to finishing process& packing, vendors sample approvals.
- Day to day troubleshooting in different different processes in the factory and ensure production does not stop and TNA not disturbed.
- CAPA Implementtaion of monthly analysis done to reduce rejection and improve quality.
- Original Gold seal or any seal sample not to be given for packaging development or vendors.
Training
- Make training calendar for training of checkers and material handling.
- Ensures training to be given to all as per calendar.
- Provide on the job training also to the quality checkers.
- Check training effectiveness and improve the training for any lapses observed.
