Job Description

Position: Vice General Manager (with Key Account Management Background)
Industry: Quality Assurance and Inspection Services
Location: New Delhi, India (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with top management to develop and implement strategic plans for long-term growth in the India market.
  • Stay updated on TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop innovative solutions to overcome operational and market challenges.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with standards.
  • Monitor performance metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with regional operations.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage office budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved and costs are controlled.
  • Analyze financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence in India and South Asia.
  • Build and maintain strong client, partner, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage key client accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments and with headquarters.
  • Coach and monitor sales managers for improved performance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (other relevant backgrounds welcome).

Experience:

  • 5–8 years of managerial experience in inspection services, international trade, or related industries such as Renewable Energy, Industrial Equipment, or Chemical Materials.
  • Experience in the TIC industry is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record in managing operations and leading teams in a multinational environment.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
