Job Description
Position: Vice General Manager (with Key Account Management Background)
Industry: Quality Assurance and Inspection Services
Location: New Delhi, India (On-site)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with top management to develop and implement strategic plans for long-term growth in the India market.
- Stay updated on TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop innovative solutions to overcome operational and market challenges.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with standards.
- Monitor performance metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with regional operations.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage office budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved and costs are controlled.
- Analyze financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence in India and South Asia.
- Build and maintain strong client, partner, and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage key client accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments and with headquarters.
- Coach and monitor sales managers for improved performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (other relevant backgrounds welcome).
Experience:
- 5–8 years of managerial experience in inspection services, international trade, or related industries such as Renewable Energy, Industrial Equipment, or Chemical Materials.
- Experience in the TIC industry is an added advantage.
- Proven track record in managing operations and leading teams in a multinational environment.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and strategic planning.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
