Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced R&D Head to lead the Research & Development function for a leading manufacturing organization. The role will be responsible for driving innovation, new product development, process optimization, and technology advancement to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s R&D strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead new product development from concept to commercialization.
• Drive innovation initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and competitiveness.
• Identify and implement new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales teams.
• Oversee product testing, validation, prototyping, and technical documentation.
• Manage R&D budgets, resources, and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor products to identify opportunities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing R&D team.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Material Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in R&D within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in product development, innovation, and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate market requirements into commercially successful products.
