Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Purchase Director to lead our procurement function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials related to fire safety and protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage end-to-end purchasing operations for firefighting equipment and safety products
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize cost and quality
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance teams
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10–15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in fire safety, engineering, or manufacturing industry
  • Strong network with vendors in fire protection, alarms, and safety equipment
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams
