Job Opening: Manufacturing Head – Textile Plant
Location: India

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for a textile plant. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in production planning, process optimization, quality management, cost control, and team leadership. The role requires driving operational excellence while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete manufacturing operations, including Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch.
- Develop and execute production plans to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TPM.
- Monitor plant productivity, OEE, machine utilization, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Optimize production costs while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
- Lead manpower planning, workforce development, and performance management.
- Support new product development, process improvements, and capacity expansion projects.
- Prepare production MIS reports and present operational performance to senior management. Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15–20 years of experience in textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant leadership role.
- Strong exposure to spinning, weaving, knitting, processing, dyeing, finishing, or garment manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, process improvement, quality systems, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
