Executive Director – Projects & Operations (Steel & Power Plant)

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
Company: A Large & Reputed Engineering Company
CTC: ₹75 Lakhs – ₹1.5 Crore per annum
Experience: 15 – 20 years

Job Highlights

  • Proven experience as President / Executive Director in Projects & Operations within the Steel or Power sector.
  • Expertise in strategizing and executing greenfield steel plant projects in West Bengal or Odisha.
  • Strong background in plant setup, commissioning, operations, and expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and operations of large-scale Steel & Power projects.
  • Drive project feasibility, budgeting, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to align project goals with company strategy.
  • Oversee EPC contracts, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards across all operations.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Steel or Power plant project management and operations.
  • Proven leadership in handling greenfield or brownfield plant setups.
  • Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
