Job Description
PURPOSE
The Technical & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the design, integration &
implementation, and commissioning of our Bifuel kits throughout India & APAC. The role
also has a role to play in pre-sales support and customer liaison to successfully negotiate
project specifications and expectations.
Key Stakeholder Relationships
To perform effectively the Integration & Commissioning, the engineer will be required to liaise
effectively with all relevant stakeholders, specifically Technical staff, Sub Contractors, a diverse
range of Customers and the Sales team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project and Risk Management
On site Commissioning of Bifuel Kits
Planning, scheduling and delivery of effective and efficient project outcomes.
Identification, analysis and management of design issues and other risks that may adversely
affect project delivery
Clear and accurate documentation of all aspects of projects including risks is undertaken.
Review and evaluation of projects upon completion with feedback and improvement
opportunities reported to key internal stakeholders
Projects are fault free and completed on time and on budget.
Performance Indicators
Stakeholders alerted early on to issues/potential risks and provided with solutions appropriate
to the risk rating.
Bifuel Project designs and Commissioning in accordance with company standard.
CRM is up to date.
Projects are delivered in a consistent manner.
Project reviews are undertaken and reported on.
Relationship Management
Establishment and maintenance of positive working relationships with all customers
Appropriate management of customer expectations
Proactive response to customer queries and/or concerns
Performance Indicators
Customer feedback, indicating satisfaction with interactions as well as project outcomes
Project variations identified and managed
Outcomes to customers are aligned with our technical & commercial obligations.
Team Work
Guidance provided on the development of existing products, including identification of product
gaps and development of new improved products.
Effective guidance and supervision of graduates, contractors and/or tradespeople involved in
projects.

REQUIREMENTS
Education (Level, Field) : Bachelor’s degree Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Preference : Support & Commissioning engineers of Diesel Generator OEMs
Acquired skills: Experience in Gas/Diesel Generators commissioning & servicing. Knowledge of detailed engine ignition function will be an added advantage
Experience in similar field/role : 3 years technical experience in commissioning / service ofhigh/medium speed Gas/Diesel Generators
Total years of working experience :3 or more years’
Travel: Frequent intra-state and interstate travel (as well asoccasional overseas travel) are a requirement of theposition.
Hard Skills: Required: Computer skills: Advanced competence using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)
Desirable: AutoCAD (Nice to have)
