Hiring: General Manager – Mining

Location: India
CTC: Up to ₹1 Crore per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and result-oriented General Manager – Mining to lead large-scale mining operations in India. The role requires strong operational leadership, strategic planning expertise, and in-depth knowledge of statutory compliance to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end mining operations including production, planning, and dispatch
  • Ensure compliance with DGMS and environmental/statutory regulations
  • Drive operational excellence, productivity, and cost optimization
  • Oversee mine planning, drilling & blasting, excavation, and material handling
  • Implement high safety and sustainability standards
  • Manage cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, Geology, Safety)
  • Liaise with government authorities and key stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering (First Class Manager’s Certificate preferred)
  • 15–20+ years of mining experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership/GM role
  • Strong knowledge of Indian mining laws and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in managing large open-cast or underground mining projects
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
