A leading EPC & Engineering Services organization is looking for a highly experienced and strategic professional for the position of Vice President – Operations to lead large-scale operational activities, project execution, and business growth initiatives across multiple locations.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred)

Role Overview:
The Vice President – Operations will be responsible for overseeing overall business operations, project delivery, execution strategy, operational efficiency, client management, and profitability for EPC and engineering projects. The role requires strong leadership capabilities with expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end operational management for EPC and engineering projects
  • Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and process improvements
  • Oversee project planning, execution, commissioning, and timely delivery
  • Ensure projects are executed within budget, timeline, and quality standards
  • Manage cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Projects, Contracts, and HSE
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, resource utilization, and profitability
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory norms, and quality standards
  • Support business expansion, strategic planning, and organizational growth initiatives
  • Handle risk management, contract execution, and dispute resolution
  • Drive digital transformation and operational automation initiatives wherever applicable
  • Mentor and develop leadership teams across operations and projects

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Proven leadership experience in EPC / Engineering Services industry
  • Strong exposure to large-scale industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, power, or heavy engineering projects
  • Expertise in project execution, operations management, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience in handling multi-location operations and large project teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
