JOB PURPOSE
Profile Summary:
The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the MEP projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and providing strategic financial guidance. He should have a strong financial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
Job Description
Strategic Responsibilities:
1.Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies to support MEP projects.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasts, and budgeting to optimize financial performance and guide strategic decision-making.
2.Cost Management:
- Monitor project costs strategically to ensure adherence to budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement cost control strategies that align with overall project goals.
3.Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks at a strategic level and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure financial compliance with industry regulations and standards while considering long-term financial stability.
4.Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Strategically manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing to maximize financial benefits for the organization.
5.Team Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Operational Responsibilities:
6.Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and oversee the day-to-day production of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
- Provide ongoing financial data and analysis to support operational decisions and ensure financial accuracy.
7.Cash Flow Management:
- Actively manage day-to-day cash flow, including revenue recognition, invoicing, and collections, to ensure the availability of funds for project needs.
8.Financial Audits:
- Coordinate and oversee financial audits, ensuring operational compliance with audit requirements and responding to audit findings.
