Designation : Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

Location: Dubai

Experience : 15 Years

DEPARTMENT -High Rise  Construction

JOB PURPOSE

  • Senior Mechanical Engineer: (15 years of experience minimum with Gulf Experience and has worked extensively on high rise buildings)

     

    Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Engineer  
    Profile Summary:

    They should be proficient in technical evaluation, consultant coordination, and effective project delegation. They will be responsible for material coordination, quality control, and manpower oversight for seamless project execution.

    Job Description
    Strategic Role:

    1. Technical Evaluation:
      • Review and approve technical evaluations of comparative statements received from the Procurement Manager.
      • Ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
    2. Consultant Coordination:
      • Collaborate with the consultant to discuss and finalize shop drawings.
    3. Project Delegation:
      • Delegate weekly work targets to division foremen and provide daily reviews.
    4. Material Coordination:
      • Coordinate material issuance with the site storekeeper and foreman.
    5. Quality Control:
      • Collaborate with the QC Engineer to address identified gaps and issues raised by the Project Manager during weekly status meetings.

    Operational Role:

    1. Manpower Oversight:
      • Supervise site manpower and tasks, promptly notifying COO of any additional personnel on-site.
    2. Discrepancy Resolution:
      • Address discrepancies noted by the contractor’s consultant in conjunction with the QC Engineer.
    3. Progress Evaluation:
      • Evaluate project progress based on BOQ segregation and prepare payment applications.
      • Include BOQ evaluation, inspection reports, and required documentation with payment applications for submission to QS – Cost Control.
    4. Cost Analysis:
      • Provide input for the preparation of the “Cost to Complete” sheet, offering insights and reasonable assumptions for project cost completion.
