Job Description
The Regional Director oversees logistics operations within the assigned region, ensuring efficient transportation, warehousing, customer service, and compliance with company standards. This role drives operational excellence, cost control, and team performance across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage logistics hubs and distribution centers within the region.
Develop and implement regional strategies to improve service levels, efficiency, and
profitability.
Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with company goals.
Oversee regional budget planning and cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Lead and mentor regional operations teams and facility managers.
Collaborate with national leadership on logistics strategy and expansion.
Required Skills:
Strong leadership and team management across multi-site operations
Deep understanding of supply chain, transportation, and warehouse management
Data-driven decision-making and KPI analysis
Budgeting, cost control, and P&L management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Familiarity with logistics software and TMS/WMS platforms
Problem-solving under pressure and in complex operational settings
Knowledge of compliance, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., DOT, OSHA)
Experience
10–13 + years in logistics or transportation management, with multi-site oversight
