We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients who is a is a leading MEP engineering and contracting company

Designation: MEP- Project Manager

Location: Bhilwara, Rajasthan.

Experience: 10+yrs

Position: Permanent.

Reporting to– Director / General Manager – Projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. MEP Project Management – Single Point of Contact
  • Act as the single point of responsibility for all MEP disciplines including Fire Fighting,

HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing across all assigned projects.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors as the primary MEP

interface throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Review and approve MEP design drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings

before implementation.

  • Lead project kick-off meetings and define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource

plans for MEP works.

  • Ensure all MEP works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, applicable

codes, and quality standards.

  1. Fire Fighting Systems
  • Plan and oversee installation of fire suppression systems including sprinklers, hydrants,

hose reels, fire alarm systems, and clean agent suppression systems.

  • Ensure compliance with NBC (National Building Code), NFPA standards, and local fire

department requirements.

  • Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing of fire detection and

suppression systems.

  • Liaise with the fire safety authority and ensure timely NOC/approvals.
  1. HVAC Systems
  • Manage installation and commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, ducting, and controls.
  • Review load calculations, equipment selections, and energy efficiency parameters.
  • Supervise insulation works, TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing), and BMS integration for HVAC systems.
  • Ensure adherence to ASHRAE standards and project specifications.
  1. Electrical Systems
  • Oversee all LT/HT electrical works including substation, DG sets, MDB/SMDB, wiring,

lighting, earthing, and lightning protection.

  • Review single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and electrical load calculations.
  • Coordinate with utility companies for power connections and compliance with CEA/CEIG regulations.
  • Ensure safe electrical installations meeting IE Rules, NBC, and IS standards.
  1. Plumbing Systems
  • Manage domestic water supply, hot water systems, drainage, sanitary, rainwater

harvesting, and sewage treatment plant (STP) works.

  • Review plumbing schematics and ensure compliance with NBC and local municipal

authority requirements.

  • Coordinate testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning of all plumbing systems.
  1. Project Planning, Monitoring & Controls
  • Develop detailed project schedules (MS Project / Primavera) and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Prepare and track project budgets; control costs and manage variations/change orders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings; prepare and submit MIS reports to management.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure ‘snag-free’ project handover with complete as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
  1. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
  • Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures for all MEP works in line with ISO and project- specific quality plans.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE norms on site; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain all project documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, test certificates, and warranties.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognizeduniversity.
  • Postgraduate qualification (M.Tech / MBA in Project Management) is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial / lead role.
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale MEP projects (commercial, residential,

industrial, or infrastructure).

  • Hands-on experience across all four MEP disciplines: Fire Fighting, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing.
  • Prior experience working with real estate developers, EPC contractors, or MEP consulting firms.
  • Experience of managing projects in Rajasthan or the North/West India region is preferred.
