Our products include Jacquards, Taffetas, Dupions, Sheers, Damask, and Brocades, which are manufactured from pure silk, silk blends and natural fibers. Chamundi Silks also specializes in apparel fabrics, which include Bridal wear, Chiffons, Georgettes, Crepes and Yarn Dyed fabrics. 


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our saree division’s marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fashion industry, particularly sarees, and possess strong strategic and creative thinking skills. As the Marketing Manager for Sarees, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive sales, and engage our target audience.


Role Responsibilities: 


  1. Strategy Development: 


  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives, with a focus on the saree division. 
  • Identify key market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies. 


  1. Brand Positioning and Messaging: 


  • Define and refine the brand’s identity, positioning, and messaging specific to the sarees category. 
  • Ensure consistent and compelling communication of brand values and unique selling propositions. 


  1. Campaign Planning and Execution: 


  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that encompass online and offline channels, including social media, print media, events, and influencer partnerships. 


  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop captivating visuals, content, and promotional materials for campaigns. 


  1. Market Research: 


  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer behavior, and preferences within the saree industry. 
  • Utilize market insights to drive product development and identify new opportunities


  1. Collaboration and Partnerships: 


  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and industry partners to amplify brand visibility and credibility. 


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, production, and sales, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Proven experience (8-10 years) as a Marketing Manager in the fashion industry, preferably with a focus on sarees or ethnic wear. 
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and digital marketing strategies, tactics, and tools. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas. 
  • Proficiency in using marketing software and tools for campaign management, analytics, and content creation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively across departments. 
  • A passion for fashion and an appreciation for cultural trends related to sarees.
