Service Engineer

A digital printer service technician specializes in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of digital printers, including digital flex solvent printers, eco-solvent printers, UV digital flatbed printers, Their role includes diagnosing hardware and software problems, replacing worn or damaged parts, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and ensuring printers function at optimal levels.Key responsibilities for a digital printer service technician often include:

  • · Installation and configuration of printers on networks.
  • · Diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
  • · Repairing or replacing parts such as rollers, fusers, print heads, and cartridges.
  • · Handling connectivity issues related to Wi-Fi, USB, or Ethernet.
  • · Performing software updates and printer firmware upgrades.
  • · Providing customer support and explaining printer operation.
  • · Managing inventory of spare parts.
  • · Maintaining service records and handling warranty repairs.
  • · Regular cleaning and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

Technicians must have expertise with digital printer electronics, printing technology, and network setup. Experience with specialty printers such as wide-format, can be required. Common skills include troubleshooting, hardware repair, software installation, and basic IT network knowledge.

Office Timings – 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM

Working days – MON – SAT ( 6 days)
