Job Responsibilities
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Restaurant Sales Manager for an Indian restaurant located
in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania to oversee and enhance our restaurant’s sales and business development
operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, effective social media utilization
strategies, and team management. This is a target-based role requiring exceptional communication skills
and the ability to generate consistent monthly recurring sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Business Development
o Achieve monthly sales targets by driving new business acquisition and retaining existing
clients.
o Identify and onboard corporate clients for recurring tiffin services and one-time events.
o Conduct daily in-person visits to companies to build strong client relationships and
secure new business.
o Implement creative and effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
2. Social Media and Marketing
o Leverage social media platforms to promote restaurant offerings and drive online
engagement.
o Develop and execute social media campaigns aimed at increasing brand visibility and
sales.
o Monitor and analyze online marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
3. Team Management
o Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives.
o Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training to enhance team performance.
o Coordinate with restaurant operations and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
delivery.
4. Customer Relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
o Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
o Collect and act on customer feedback to enhance service quality.
Requirements
• Experience: 5–7 years in restaurant sales, business development, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Language: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skills:
o Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
o Strong social media marketing and utilization skills.
o Exceptional negotiation and networking abilities.
o Effective leadership and team management skills.
o Familiarity with the Tanzanian market and corporate culture is a plus.
