JOB PURPOSE
The Role: We are looking for an experienced Technologist with deep expertise in IT Governance. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with key information security standards, including ISO27001 and SOC frameworks, as well as supporting our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives. You’ll play a key part in our mission to uphold rigorous governance processes, mitigate risks, and maintain the security and resilience of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage IT Governance frameworks across our clients, with a focus on ISO27001, SOC 1, and SOC 2.

Conduct regular client audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain IT risk management processes.

Manage and maintain clients security policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Provide training and guidance on IT governance and compliance topics to teams across the organization.

Conduct gap analysis and create action plans to address deficiencies in governance practices.

Drive continuous improvement in IT governance, risk, and compliance processes.

Support our platform development and content by creating assets and a comprehensive risk assessment for our clients
Key Requirements:
-
Experience: At least 5 years of commercial experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance within large organizations.

Standards Expertise: Proven expertise with ISO27001 and SOC frameworks (SOC 1, SOC 2) and experience in preparing or maintaining certifications. ISMS implementer, or auditor qualifications.

Communication: Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You’ll need the ability to communicate complex IT governance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

Collaborative: Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve compliance goals.

Preferred: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) are a plus but not mandatory.
