JOB PURPOSE
Primary Purpose of the Position
Achieve positive sales growth through developing new regional dealer and distributor network, and growing the existing dealer sales in Northern India.
Dimensions
This role covers regional sales through the Solahart India dealer network which will be primarily through new dealers the representative needs to develop. This person will be tasked to develop sales growth and maintain the network in addition product mapping with the dealers.
In addition to driving sales the salesperson is to work with consultants and engineers to have the Solahart product range specified, developing close relationships with developers, architects and consultants.
This role is an opportunity for someone junior to come into and prove themselves developing the business in turn developing their position within the company.
Reporting Relationship
- ASM reports to International Manager.
Specific Responsibilities
- Help identify and develop regional dealer network in Northern India and greater India as the foundations are put in place.
- Acting as a point of contact for existing dealers within an assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly and yearly budgets and sales growth.
- Ensure dealers are motivated to drive sales in line with our expectations and sales budgets.
- Drive a sales and customer service culture throughout the network through training and ongoing coaching.
- Teach and develop the dealer network sales techniques on how to sell our products.
- Work closely with the dealer salespeople to achieve sales budgets
- Identifying and develop new local dealer opportunities
- Prospect and qualify new sales and business opportunities/leads
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
- Present product solutions and services to prospective dealers and customers
- Assist with exhibition displays in line with the Solahart ‘best practice’ approach.
- Report on regional sales results and prospects (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with dealers and customers
- Work with consultants to have Solahart products specified.
- Track all sales activities in company CRM system.
General Accountabilities
Safety and Environmental:
The incumbent shall perform all duties requested of them by manager in so far as the request is reasonable and can be conducted in a safe manner.
The incumbent is responsible for personal compliance with all Company policies and procedures in order to control OHS, Environmental and other risks and to ensure compliance with business and legal requirements.
Quality:
The incumbent is responsible for actively participating in the implementation of policies, procedures and other elements of Rheem Australia’s Quality, OHS and Environmental Management Systems.

Qualifications & Experience – Minimum Required
Education level:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Extensive sales training courses
- Good English language and written skills.
Experience – level and years:
- A proven track record in sales and business development with 5-10 years’ experience
- Experience with establishing a new dealer/distribution channels
- Experience in renewable energy or hot water industry is a bonus
- Training and coaching sales teams
- Strong presentation skills
- Able to bring together sales reports
