Excellent Opportunity for PLC Programmer Position in a leading Computer Vision and industrial automation Machine Manufacturing Company – Bangalore Location

 

 

Designation :  PLC Programmer

Exp : 8 – 15  yrs

Locations – Bangalore HAL Industrial estate

Domain :   Manufacturing

Working Days and Office Timing – MON – FRI  9.00 to 5,00 PM  and on Saturday 9.00 to 4.00 PM ,

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the planning, design development, test and troubleshoot of PLC Programs.

  • Support integration of sensors, servo drives, vision systems, and robotics with PLCs.

  • Document software architecture, I/O lists, control logic, and safety interlocks.

  • Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces

  • Read, interpret, and generate electrical and control schematics.

  • Collaborate with hardware design teams to integrate control systems with mechanical/electrical  subsystems.

  • Perform system integration, commissioning, and support at customer sites. Troubleshoot system

  • faults, optimize logic for performance and cycle-time improvements.

  • Analyze existing automation systems for efficiency and reliability improvements.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

  • Prepare and review technical documentation (URS, FDS, FAT/SAT protocols).

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849).

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Expertise in PLCs: Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Mitsubishi GX Works, Allen Bradleyetc.

  • HMI/SCADA development: WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, etc.

  • Motion control, VFDs, PID tuning.

  • Network protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, Profibus.

  • Electrical panel design and safety interlocks.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large automation projects.

  • Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams and international environments is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 standards, IIoT integration, and digital twins.

  • Willingness to travel for commissioning and support (domestic/international).

 

Educational Qualification

Bachelors or Masters in Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems

 

Experience

8-15 Years of experience in System integration, PLC Programming.

Hands-on experience with robotics (KUKA, FANUC, ABB) integration.

Experience in machine tools, packaging lines, or special purpose machines.
