About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a secure, highly available, and robust integration framework using Azure services. The successful candidate will define and implement integration solutions that expose functionality across a wide range of tools, including Microsoft 365 (Email, SharePoint, Planner, Power BI, etc.), HubSpot, Finance Systems, and more. This includes developing an external API framework to securely expose business functions in a controlled, scalable manner.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain an integration framework using Azure services to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance system integrations.

● Define and implement integration services to expose business functionality across Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Finance Systems, and other key business tools.

● Develop and manage an external API framework, ensuring secure access to business functions while maintaining compliance and governance standards.

● Utilize Azure Integration Services, including Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Service Bus, to enable seamless data flow and process automation.

● Ensure integrations are secure, resilient, and highly available, incorporating best practices in authentication, authorization, and encryption.

● Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless connectivity between business applications.

● Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure proactive issue resolution and optimal system performance.

● Maintain documentation of integration architectures, data flows, and APIs to ensure transparency and maintainability.

● Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft Azure and integration technologies, continuously improving integration strategies and frameworks.

Key Skills & Experience

● Proven experience in integration and automation engineering, specifically with Microsoft Azure services.

● Strong expertise in Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Event Grid.

● Experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable APIs and integration solutions.

● In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 tools (Email, SharePoint, Planner, Power BI) and their integration capabilities.

● Experience integrating HubSpot, Finance Systems, and other third-party applications.

● Strong knowledge of security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, API Gateway security, and data encryption.

● Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML, and data transformation.

● Strong scripting and programming skills using PowerShell, C#, or Python.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies for integration deployments.

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.

● Microsoft Azure certifications (such as AZ-204, AZ-400, or AZ-900) are highly desirable.
