JOB PURPOSE

 

Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within the logistics sector in the North Region. This role entails proactive field sales efforts, hunting for new business opportunities, and developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges. 
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Conduct on-site visits to potential clients to understand their logistics needs and present appropriate solutions. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations. 
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business and maximize profitability. 
  • Prospect and identify potential clients within the North Region through cold calling, networking, and industry research. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and verticals. 
  • Continuously expand the company’s customer base by acquiring new accounts and partnerships..

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 6+ years of Managerial experience in the health supplements, herbal

products, nutraceuticals, or related wellness industries.

  • Proven track record of successfully building or scaling a brand/business.
  • Strong understanding of product certifications (Organic, Vegan, Non-GMO, GMP, etc.).
  • Experience in herbal product sourcing, manufacturing, or quality assurance is a strong

advantage.

  • Excellent leadership, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Strong network in the wellness, nutrition, or herbal products industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
