REPORT TO : Management

 

JOB PURPOSE

 

  • Team Overview:

A team of 3 testers responsible for establishing and executing the test strategy for a tax compliance portal and associated tools. The team will ensure software quality through structured functional and non-functional testing, user acceptance coordination, and implementation of no-code automated testing solutions.

  • Lead Tester / QA Manager

Role Summary: The Lead Tester owns the overall test strategy and is responsible for defining and driving test processes, planning, coordination, and reporting. They also manage UAT support and lead the evaluation and integration of no-code test automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and document the test strategy, plans, and processes (manual and automated).
  • Manage the full test lifecycle for each release cycle, including scope, coverage, timelines, and risk-based prioritization.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement no-code automated testing platforms.
  • Oversee functional and non-functional testing activities (e.g., performance, accessibility).
  • Coordinate and support UAT planning, execution, and feedback loops with business stakeholders.
  • Maintain test documentation, defect logs, and test reports.
  • Mentor and coordinate the work of test analysts and ensure best practices are followed.
Skills s Experience:
  • Proven experience in software QA and test management.
  • Strong understanding of tax, finance, or compliance systems (preferred).
  • Experience with UAT coordination and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation platforms (e.g., Testim, Leapwork, or Katalon).
  • Excellent planning, reporting, and communication skills.
