JOB PURPOSE
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Applications Specialist to support and enhance our use of Microsoft 365 applications, including Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Planner, as well as HubSpot and external communication tools (to be determined). The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing business processes, improving collaboration, and enabling data-driven decision-making through automation, analytics, and seamless system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Automate business processes using Power Automate, integrating with Microsoft 365 and third-party systems.
- Configure and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows to enhance document management and collaboration.
- Support the implementation and management of Planner for task and project tracking.
- Integrate and manage HubSpot CRM, ensuring smooth data flows between internal systems and business applications.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external communication tools (e.g., email marketing platforms, customer engagement tools).
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend appropriate Microsoft 365 and HubSpot solutions.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users to ensure effective adoption of business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, HubSpot, and external communication tools, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Stay updated with Microsoft 365, HubSpot, and integration best practices to continuously improve business applications.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role working with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Planner, and HubSpot.
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills with Power BI.
- Experience designing and implementing automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Solid knowledge of SharePoint administration, customization, and integration.
- Understanding of task and project management tools, particularly Planner.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM and its integration with other business tools.
- Experience working with email marketing and external communication platforms, with integration experience being a plus.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft certifications (such as Power Platform, SharePoint, or Power BI) and HubSpot certifications are a plus.
