Location: Chennai

Exp : 5+ yrs

DEPARTMENT – Sales

REPORT TO : Inside Sales Manager

 

JOB PURPOSE

 

Reporting to Inside Sales Manager, you shall be responsible for coordinating all sales activities and enquires, interfacing with HQ personnel, representatives and distributors through a variety of duties. 

You are expected to:

  1. Provide support to the Regional Sales Team by working closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies and offerings.

 

  1. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales managers for further development and closure.

 

  1. Interfacing with customers’ purchase order, quotation, sales terms, lead time, sales order and shipping schedule.

 

  1. Raise sample requisition for customers.

 

  1. Process order entry or goods return.

 

  1. Attend to customers’ queries, complaints, returns and feedback.

 

  1. Generating and updating sales report/forecast and shipping schedule.

 

  1. Prepare Sales Representative Contract.

 

  1. Monthly conference call meeting with all Inside Sales Supervisors/Managers.

 

  1. Attend inventory meeting.

 

  1. Assisting in ISO procedural review and internal audit.

 

Requirements:

 

  1. Minimum Secondary level with 5 years’ working experience in similar capacity or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ working experience in similar capacity.

 

  1. Strong written and oral communication skills in English & Tamil, along with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and telephone communication skills. Proficiency in Hindi is an added advantage.

 

  1. Strong computer skill and experience in ERP system is essential.

 

  1. Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks effectively and complete prioritized tasks efficiently.

 

  1. Possess maturity, a good term player and good communication skill with the positive approach towards satisfying customers’ needs & requirements.
