JOB PURPOSE
The job role looks for leveraging extensive industry knowledge and proven track record in driving revenue growth to lead and develop high-performing sales teams in the lighting sector. It also aims to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, expand market presence, and foster key client relationships while optimizing operational efficiency and profitability.”
The Sales Head will closely work with the Production, R&D and Quality Control team to drive continual improvement and meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
Strategist
- Ensure Monitoring of Sales Targets and proactive steps to ensure achievement of the same.
- Proactive identification of slow and Non Moving inventory and timely liquidation to ensure minimum working capital blockage
- Ensure Timely and accurate responding to leads / enquiries (from all sources) by the entire Sales Team
- Implement innovative Incentive structure for Sales Team and Channel Partners ●Control and manage selling and distribution overheads
- Liaise with Marketing Team for effective value creation from Marketing spends
- Ensure average collection cycle of 30-45 days from Sales date
- Define Customer Credit evaluation process and ensure adherence to the same.
- Ensure Sales Training and Product Training (Own Staff)
- Ensure Product Awareness and Training ( Channel Partner)
Qualification
- MBA in Sales and Marketing
- Masters degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Certification in MS Office and AI tools
- Proficiency in operating Automated Tools /
Softwares
Skills Required
10 + years of experience (Lighting Industry preferred) with at least 3+ years of experience in FMEG (Fast Moving Electrical Goods)
- Strong Go Getter and result oriented
- Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic business plans.
- Conflict Management and problem-solving ability
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality.
Office Timing – 9 to 6PM
Working days – 5 days
