JOB PURPOSE
Objectives of this role
We are seeking a results-oriented and highly motivated Sales Area Manager to lead and develop a team to achieving ambitious sales targets within a designated geographical area. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and executing effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Motivate, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives to consistently achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Manage and allocate territory assignments to optimize team performance.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned area.
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and negotiate win-win deals.
- Manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and building long-term loyalty.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay updated on market trends.
- Support marketing efforts and initiatives to generate leads and drive sales.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Required skills and qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales or a related field, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- 4-6 years of experience in a sales management role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for sales and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
