JOB PURPOSE

 

Objectives of this role

We are seeking a results-oriented and highly motivated Sales Area Manager to lead and develop a team to achieving ambitious sales targets within a designated geographical area. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and executing effective sales strategies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Motivate, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives to consistently achieve individual and team sales targets.
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
    • Manage and allocate territory assignments to optimize team performance.
    • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned area.
    • Conduct compelling sales presentations and negotiate win-win deals.
    • Manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and building long-term loyalty.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay updated on market trends.
    • Support marketing efforts and initiatives to generate leads and drive sales.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
    • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

 

Required skills and qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales or a related field, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 4-6 years of experience in a sales management role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for sales and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
