Job Role: Chief Executive Officer – Precision parts / Assemblies
Job brief:
The Chief executive for our Complex precision parts & Assemblies manufacturing division will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the business unit. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in aerospace, Defense, Oil & Gas manufacturing and business management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of the unit, ensuring operational excellence, managing customer relationships, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- o Lead the Business Unit’s strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
- o Identify and implement growth opportunities in the Precision manufacturing sector, including new product lines, market expansion, and technological innovations.
- o Develop and execute long-term business plans to maintain and enhance the competitiveness of the division.
- o Should be able to strategize & execute the growth to reach 1000Cr revenue in next 3 years (Current 260Cr)..
Operational Management:
- o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Manufacturing unit, ensuring timely and cost-effective production processes.
- o Implement lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and quality standards.
- o Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and production schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Financial Management:
- o Prepare and manage the business unit’s budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets and maximizing profitability.
- o Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
- o Ensure that employees are trained and have the necessary tools to succeed, emphasizing safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- o Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to team members.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- o Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs and ensure that the business unit delivers high-quality products and services.
- o Work closely with sales and engineering teams to ensure that customer specifications, timelines, and quality standards are met.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- o Ensure that all products and processes adhere to aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines.
- o Implement continuous improvement processes and quality assurance measures to maintain high product standards.
- Risk Management:
- o Identify potential business and operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- o Maintain a focus on safety standards and compliance with aerospace-specific regulations.
Requirements:
- o Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- o Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with at least 7 to 8 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- o Extensive experience in manufacturing processes, particularly within the Complex precision manufacturing industry.
- o Strong understanding of aerospace, Energy and Oil & Gas regulations, standards, and quality certifications (e.g., AS9100).
- o Proven track record of successful business unit management, including strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational excellence.
- o Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
- o Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
