Hiring: Chief Structural Design Officer (CXO Level)

Industry: Construction & Infrastructure

Location: India

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader for the position of Chief Structural Design Officer to lead structural engineering and design operations for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in structural design, project execution, engineering leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination across high-rise, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the complete structural design and engineering function across projects.
  • Develop and implement structural design strategies, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage design teams, consultants, and external engineering partners.
  • Review and approve structural concepts, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management, architecture, execution, and business teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Drive innovation, value engineering, and cost optimization in structural systems.
  • Oversee design risk management and technical due diligence.
  • Support business growth through technical presentations, client interactions, and proposal development.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 18+ years of experience in structural design and engineering leadership within the construction/infrastructure industry.
  • Strong exposure to high-rise buildings, industrial structures, commercial projects, or large infrastructure developments.
  • Proven experience in leading large engineering/design teams.
  • Expertise in RCC, steel structures, seismic design, and international design standards.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Background:

Candidates from leading EPC, real estate, infrastructure, industrial construction, or engineering consulting organizations will be preferred.
