Job Location: Ballarat Australia

Industry: Manufacturing

The Role 

Reporting into the shift supervisor you will be working a 12hr rotating shift (7am- 7pm & 7pm-7am) and the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
• Operating high speed machinery including:
• performing changeovers
• troubleshooting
• machine adjustments
• basic maintenance tasks
• Reading & following SOP’s
• Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance

What we are looking for 

• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Teamwork
• Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns
• Manufacturing experience is advantageous however not essential
• Be able to meet requirements of Orora’s pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
