Designation:- Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Job Location: South Delhi

Working Days : Mon to Fri

Office Timings: Rotational Shift (Fri7.00AM to 3.00PM/ 11.00AM to 7.00PM/3.00PM to 11.PM)

Purpose of this JOB

The main responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to ensure smooth functioning of all campus utilities, which include electricity, water treatment plant, Reverse Osmosis (RO) System, fire suppression/detection system, water softener, etc.

Operation and Maintenance 

  • Operate & maintain substation equipment, i.e., HT/LT panels, ACBs, transformers, voltage stabilizers, UPS system, Generator, fire panel, etc.
  • Regular checking of batteries of the generator and HT system.
  • Ensure adequate availability of clean water for drinking, gardening and swimming pool.
  • Attend to electrical complaints in the FF/UN premises.
  • Maintain logbook and other records of all equipment in the substation, water treatment plant and maintain their preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate firefighting equipment as and when required.
  • Regular servicing of window/split air-conditioners and air purifiers.
  • Suggest and implement energy conservation techniques Others
  • Oversee contractors work (electrical, plumbing, civil, mechanical, firefighting, carpentry, painting, etc.) and suggest any technical requirements to contractors in consultation with supervisor.
  • Provide support to Technology Manager as and when required.
  • Provide technical assistance and exchange ideas within the unit.
  • Carry-out any other job in consultation with supervisor.
