Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Head to lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations for a leading Auto Component Manufacturing Company. The incumbent will be responsible for driving operational excellence, productivity improvement, quality enhancement, cost optimization, and workforce management across the manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and resources.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Industry 4.0 practices.
• Monitor production planning and execution to meet customer commitments and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR teams to improve operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage plant budgets, productivity targets, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead capacity expansion, process improvement, and automation projects.
• Build and mentor high-performing manufacturing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Automobile Engineering.
• Master’s Degree / MBA Operations preferred.
• 15–25 years of experience in manufacturing operations within the Auto Component industry.
• Proven experience in leading large manufacturing plants with responsibility for production, quality, maintenance, and operations.
• Strong exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Experience in handling OEM customers and Tier-1 automotive supply requirements.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
