JOB PURPOSE

About the role: This position is responsible for procurement operations within India. The role
primarily involves exploring and evaluating new vendors, managing the quality of existing vendors, and
overseeing project management. Our products are fully custom-made, requiring project management
skills to meet end-user specifications and delivery timelines. We are seeking a technical manager to
assist the Japanese MD.
Responsibilities: Procurement operations (process & quality management, project management)
1. Exploring and evaluating new vendors
o Searching for vendors for decanter centrifuge parts
o Identifying vendors for repair services for customers in India
2. Managing the quality of existing vendors (process, manufacturing, inspection)
o Overseeing process and quality control of parts during manufacturing
o Regularly checking production progress
o Addressing and proposing solutions for arising issues
o Inspecting and testing final products
3. Project management (support from the Japanese headquarters)
o Hearing and negotiating end-user specifications
 Determining optimal product specifications based on detailed customer
requirements
 Negotiating specifications, delivery times, and costs with customers
o Creating and submitting technical documents and deviations
 Preparing technical documents for RFQs
 Creating and submitting deviations for customer requirements
