Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Director – Capital Projects to lead strategic planning, execution, governance, and delivery of large-scale capital projects within the Solar Cell Manufacturing and Renewable Energy sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in capital projects, PMO leadership, EPC, project controls, stakeholder management, and large-scale industrial project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PMO strategy and implementation for large-scale capital projects.
  • Provide strategic advisory and project oversight across EPC and project management activities.
  • Establish project governance frameworks, controls, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Drive risk management, cost control, schedule management, and project performance.
  • Lead digital transformation using Primavera, MS Project, Power BI, SAP/ERP and related tools.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across multiple locations and service lines.
  • Build strong relationships with senior client and stakeholder groups.
  • Lead proposals, client presentations, business development initiatives, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and project performance enhancement.
  • Mentor and develop project management and consulting teams.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums and client events.
  • Contribute to best practices, case studies, and thought leadership in capital project delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in capital projects, infrastructure, EPC, industrial projects, or project management.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale capital programs / PMO.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, cost and schedule management.
  • Experience in Solar / Renewable Energy / Manufacturing Plant Projects will be highly relevant.
  • Experience with Primavera, SAP, MS Project, Power BI or similar project/digital tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • MBA / PMP will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with a Big 4 / top-tier consulting environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, and regulatory frameworks is desirable.
